Sensory Kids are an organisation dedicated to young children with Special Needs as well as able bodied children. Both can play and enjoy an environment designed to enhance their development in Broughshane. Sensory Kids are now opening on a Saturday afternoon to welcome a new age group to enjoy their facilities.
Sensory Kids introduce Saturday Afternoon session
Sensory Kids say:
We have noticed that there is very little for young people with a disability available for 16 years to 25 years old on a Saturday.
We are now facilitating a session directly aimed at this age group on a Saturday afternoon 1.30pm to 2.30pm starting Saturday 1st August.
Included are crafts, music, a cup of coffee, or hot chocolate with biscuits and of course sensory input.
We think it is beneficial for young people with disabilities to meet others, create relationships and improve their communication skills.
