Ballymena Family History Society is a branch of the North of Ireland Family History Society. Their mission is to encourage study and research in genealogy and local history.

The group do not undertake research, but facilitate and encourage our members to do their own research into their family history. The Ballymena Branch meet on the last Thursday of the month at 7.15pm in the Michelin Arts Workshop, Braid Arts Centre in Ballymena for the months of September to May.

The North of Ireland Family History Society has many event planned for the next few month including everything from learning how to creatively present your family genealogy, to understanding how DNA test can be used to further your genealogical research and learning how social media sites like Facebook can help your search for information. Lots of talks and workshops are available which will be helpful for anyone who has an interest in researching their family history.
