Willow Beauty have just won the coveted NI Boutique Salon of the Year 2017 at the recent Professional Beauty Regional Awards ceremony. We have watched with interest how Willow Beauty on Broughshane Street has grown over the last year or so. Gillian and the team have worked really hard to get to where they are now.
Gillian spoke about winning the award. “This is MASSIVE for us and an amazing achievement. Thank you to all our amazing clients! I would like to say thanks to our beauty therapist Nuala Mullan who played a big part in helping us win this. Also to my husband William for his support and who plays a big part in the background of the salon”
It’s great to see a Ballymena business doing well, not only in their own town but taking on the best in their sector from across Northern Ireland, and winning. This award comes just after Willow Beauty were also finalists in two categories in the Ballymena Business Awards.

We asked Gillian what was involved.
“Each finalist was visited by a member of the awards team. They then reported back to a panel of independent industry-expert judges. The finalists were then scored on every aspect of their business. This included the website to the salon exterior and everything in between.
Having won the Northern Ireland regional award we are now really looking forward to competing in the national awards. This ceremony will be held in London in February.” We wish Willow Beauty every success.
