Killyless Stores is a family run business just a couple of miles outside Cullybackey. Opened by Trevor Overend in 1995, they have been supplying the local farming community for 23 years now. We called at the Lisnahunshin Road based store to find out more.
Killyless Stores is sat in the middle of the Cullybackey countryside, so no problem with parking! Inside the store is a large range of hardware, not only for farmers but also for household and gardening needs. There’s also a great selection of outdoor clothing and footwear.
In the grounds surrounding the shop they have a huge range of animal feeds for cattle, sheep, horses, etc. There’s also fertilizer, dairy hygiene products & animal health products. Fuel including coal, Calor gas and blocks and so much more!
They say, “We offer a wide range of products, with emphasis on product quality and service.”
Also for the benefit of the local community there’s a Post Office in store. It’s open Monday from 9am – 3pm and Tuesday – Friday 9am – 12:30pm.

Animal feeds – can be supplied in bulk direct to the farm or available at the store in smaller bags. The store is UFAS approved and the feeds are supplied by Thompsons Feeds, United Feeds and Chestnutt Animal Feeds.
Fertilizer – as with the animal feeds, fertilizers can be suppied direct to farm or collected in smaller lots from the store. Handy 50kg bags are also available – ideal for gardeners.
Sprays – we have access to sprays from all the major agrochemical manufacturers. We can supply the sprays you need for grassland, potatoes and cereals.
Animal Health – Killyless Stores are a fully approved VMD registered store for the sale of wormers and fluke drenches for cattle, sheep and horses.
Dairy hygiene – in stock we have a range of teat dips and sprays, milk socks, circulation and bulk tank cleaners. Also Kingston liners, gloves, aprons and more.
We also specialize in electric fencing units and supply many other tools and equipment needed for the farming community.
