Look out for the Victim Support NI new campaign posters which have been launched recently. The posters feature bold text emphasising the words HEARD, HELP and COURAGE. This is to encourage victims of crime to feel supported and to help them to find help.

Victim Support NI launch new campaign

Victim Support NI is an independent charity supporting people affected by crime. We offer a free and confidential service, whether or not a crime has been reported and regardless of how long ago the event took place.

Our vision is of ‘a society that ensures appropriate support and information is available for people affected by crime.’
We pledge to continue to work for as long as is necessary to ensure that this vision becomes a reality and that those affected by crime are treated with respect and dignity while receiving the services and support they are entitled to.
Victim Support NI can help you after a crime, whether or not you go to the police. We can provide:
– emotional support and practical help
– assistance and support at court
– help with criminal injury compensation claims
– referral to specialist support services
– advocacy services in incidents of hate crime and sexual violence (Source)
