The Jewellers Workshop Broughshane specializes in handmade jewellery and runnning workshops where couples can come for the day and make their own wedding bands. As they say, “Who could make your wedding rings with more love and care than you?” The one day experience gives you use of the fully equipped workshop, based at Main Street, Broughshane, and John will give you all the guidance needed, so you end up with a pair of beautiful rings designed and made by you!
Another piece of exciting news for The Jewellers Workshop is that they have been awarded Wedding Jeweller of the Year at the recent Northern Ireland Wedding Awards 2020.
We called at The Jewellers Workshop, Jubilee Mews, Main Street, Broughshane to speak to owners John and Mechelle to find out more. Firstly we asked what services the workshop offered?
“For those who don’t want to make their own wedding bands, we design and make bespoke wedding and engagement rings. We discuss with each couple what they want and design each ring accordingly. We love to give each of our customers the personal touch they deserve for their big day. We also offer rhodium plating, jewellery repairs and watch repairs. In many cases these repairs can be completed on a same day service.”

Tell us more about the one day workshops you offer?
“So many couples have loved the opportunity to come for a day to our workshop and end up with two beautiful wedding rings they have made themselves – unique and individual! As each couple crafts their rings, we give them expert tuition and guide them through the various steps. It starts with choosing a design, then the making process starts – shaping, hammering, heating, soldering and polishing. When the rings are finished they are sent off to be hallmarked and then they’re ready for each couple’s special day.”
