Portglenone host Community Rescue Service training

Last month Portglenone Marina hosted members of the Community Rescue Service from Belfast and Antrim units, who were taking part in Boat Crew training. The Community Rescue service are volunteers who provide support for searches and water rescue.

The training day involved all aspects of boat safety and line handling enabling the crew to operate safely and effectively in the marine environment. Well done to everyone who took part.

It was also an opportunity to show off the Portglenone Community Rescue service new facilities at Porglenone Marina courtesy of Ballymena Borough Council. Click here to find out more about the Portglenone Community Rescue service.
