LLCrafts Fundraising support the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children

Local Ballymena business LLCrafts and LLCraftsFundraising support the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. Ballymena artist Louise Lester of LLCRAFTS was delighted and privileged to receive a contact from Dr. Aideen Keaney, who is Paediatric Anaesthesia Consultant in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast asking if we could provide a ‘fun & unique’ receptacle for a special project they are working on. So it is with great pleasure that the Daisy the Cow Milkpail was painted and donated, perfect for the children to post their comment cards into.

Louise says;

Julie, the Children’s Hospital Service Manager, very kindly agreed to collect Daisy the Cow Milkpail and a few weeks later we were invited to the Royal Victoria Hospital to see ‘Daisy the Cow’ in the children’s Intensive Care Unit. We were given a great wee friendly tour, meeting some of the intensive care unit team, who do such a fantastic job for the sick children and saw where the idea for Daisy the Cow’Milkpail all started from!

Huge thanks to Dr. Aideen Keaney and Julie Lewis for letting us be part of this great project. We look forward to continuing with this very worthy venture, for a total of 10 Childrens Wards! …… so I better get cracking on with the next nine ‘Daisy the Cow’ Milkpails!

‘LLCrafts’ feels very honored at befriending ‘Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children’ and love to show support for great causes with ‘LLCraftsFundraising’.
