EDUCATING THROUGH
EXTRA CURRICULAR
Playing sports provides for our pupils the
opportunity to develop team skills, physi-
cal literacy & communication, healthy
competiveness and pupil wellbeing. Oth-
er enrichments such as clubs and socie-
ties provide our pupils with further oppor-
tunities to develop skill sets which devel-
op personal character, enjoyment and in-
clusiveness.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR
Pupils are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities
outside the classroom situation. These include: Art Club, Civic
Link, Athletics, Badminton, Choir, Dance, Football, Hockey,
Netball, Orchestra, Rugby, Scripture Union, Tennis, Trampolin-
ing and Young Enterprise. Outdoor pursuits include Canoeing
and Hill Walking (DoE), and pupils may choose from Ski, French
or History trips. Extra-curricular provision is available in an
extensive lunchtime and after school programme and by
means of enrichments offered as part of the school day at key
times of the year.
