Samaritans’ volunteers help people on Northern Ireland

Samaritans’ volunteers in Northern Ireland responded to more than 145,000 calls for help last year. Figures by Smaritans, to coincide with Volunteers’ Week, show that 757 volunteers responded to 145,226 requests for support from people struggling to cope.
