Ballymena Butcher K & G McAtamney in Greenvale Street recently brought home a host of awards from the European Angus Steak Tasting Awards. They won these awards: 1st in Gourmet Steak Sausage 2nd traditional Beef Sausage 2nd Value Added Product 3rd in Champion Rib Eye K & G McAtamney Butcher & Deli have a website where you can hear all about their products and their history. When Kieran & Gordon opened their new stylish & contemporary premises on Greenvale St, Ballymena in 2000 they brought with them a wealth of knowledge going back as far as 1953. Kieran’s grandfather opened a butcher’s shop in Kilrea, Co. Derry and Kieran gained his early experience in that business. Having passed on his wisdom to Gordon, with this expertise under their belts they have set out to create a new concept offering everything you need for a gourmet meal, freshly prepared onsite by qualified chefs. The store has a deli counter offering a variety of fresh sandwiches and lunches and you can also buy prepackaged meals featuring their meat products. The Sound of Music at Ballymena Cinema
