Is your glassy living room making the most of glorious views and are you picking up the sun as it rises and sets around your house? A good Design and Construction team can direct you to where you may want to locate your key rooms, garage, oil tank and patio. This may mean compromising from what you had originally in mind but your site will dictate lots of the distinguishing features of you home including the layout. Take advice and think carefully about your options before you start digging any foundations. Don’t assume that the flattest part of the site is the best place to build, enquire about the price of ‘digging in’ or ‘building up’ in order to get the best orientation and views and weigh up what means the most to you. This week Middletown Coffee Co took over the counter in Good Folk menswear shop on Ballymoney Street. Did you manage to pop in and grab a cup? The Coffee NI crew were in attendance and have written a blog post about the Middletown Coffee Co. pop up here. Coffee NI say; “It was really exciting to see Ballymena become a kind of impromptu coffee capital of Northern Ireland for one day. Middletown were hectic, Ground Espresso Bars who are 200 yards away were super busy as always… Ballymena was caffeinated and people had driven from far away to get to Middletown....

Happy October! in Ballymena we have enjoyed a mild september but with the October chill just round the corner its time to dig out our warmer clothes. Tartan is the perfect print to invest in this october as it can brighten up you existing wardrobe, keep you warm and trendy all at once. There are a few different ways to embrace the tartan trend this Autumn. Here are a few of our favourite street stylers wearing fashion their way. Take it a bit father with a tartan kilt which you can team with your black chinky knit jumper, or for something a bit more dressy pick up a tartan pencil skirt – be sure to get the hem to hit your knee or below to keep it fresh.
