Moving Image Arts celebrates
everything that underpins film;
production, editing and artistry.
Year 13 students commence the
course by delving into the history
of Hollywood cinema.
They begin by exploring the mys-
tery of silent film before moving
through Hitchcock’s golden year
and how this iconic director con-
tinues to influence some of our
best loved films today!
Once they become experts in film
theory, it is time to turn them into
directors!
Through good time management,
determination and creativity our
students produce some fantastic
films, ranging from docu-drama,
to thrillers and even romance!
Year 14 delve into the world of
cinema; focusing and developing
their film making and analytical
skills.
Who knows...we may have a fu-
ture film producer on our hands!
