“Consider Yourself One Of Us!”
The end of November is a key time in the
Dunclug Callender. It is a time when eve-
ry department and an army of volunteer
staff rally together and become akin to
family for SHOW WEEK! This year was no
exception as Duncug College proudly
presented: Oliver!
From set design and construction to the
magnificent art work, the meticulous
sound, the atmospheric lighting, the vi-
brant costumes, make-up, props and
Stage Management … from choreogra-
phy to musical direction and the perfor-
mance, every element of the production
was home-grown in every way in Dun-
clug College. ‘Oliver’ opened with ‘Food
Glorious Food’ and over 80 talented pu-
pils took to the stage to sing their hearts
out.
The production ran for 4 days and 3 eve-
nings, entertaining local primary school
pupils, our own school body, family,
friends and the general public.
Pupils were rewarded by a trip to The
Riverside Theatre, Coleraine where they
enjoyed a production of ‘Chitty Chitty
Bang Bang’ by Ballywillan Theatre Com-
pany.
The production company would just like
to express their awe at the talent on dis-
play and their sincere thanks to all in-
volved!
