Last week we shared an article about BD Fitness who were running the Bike for Brandon event to raise money for Brandon Dunseath. Brandon was introduced to a specialised bike which was really helping him with his movement and development. The money being raised is going towards getting the bike especially for Brandon as at the moment he has to travel to use one. Brandon’s mum and Joanne from BD fitness were featured on Q radio last week to talk about the event and what it would mean to Brandon. Click here to listen to the Radio interview.

Bike for Brandon Update

The event was held on Saturday and BD Fitness have announced that £1392.00 was collected from spin cyclers, and supporters. We at Ballymena Today headed down to grab a bike and can say that it was a difficult spin session – our legs nearly gave up, we broke out in a sweat and needed a lie down afterwards – but it was brilliant motivation to watch Brandon cheering us along! Well done to the team and everyone who gave up their Saturday afternoon to support this local boy. We hope that he is a step closer to getting his bike!

BD fitness is located in Ballymena Business Centre near Ballymena – click here to follow their Facebook page.
