Ballymena Today Youth Team: What have they been up to?

Here at Ballymena Today one of the most important things about our local Ballymena blog is that we hear from the future of our town. That is why at Ballymena Today we have been quietly encouraging young people from Ballymena to step up and have a go at reporting something exciting about and for our town. We know that lots of our readers love the posts written by the Ballymena Today Youth team and we love them too! We have an exciting update about what our local youth team have been up to – forget school, forget doing the chores our youth team have been rubbing shoulders with an exciting TV star who has been giving them the inside track on her career in television, her life in Northern Ireland and her advice on handling yourself online. During the summer our team of teen sharpened their pencils, charged up their i-phone (for selfies), and were let loose on a BBC journalist. Who was it? You don’t have to wait long to find out. This week we are very proud and delighted to publish a series of interviews prepared, carried out and recorded by young people from Ballymena. Slemish Market Supper Club grows

Slemish Market Supper club have announced another new date to add to your diary. We have only just written about our amazing experience at the local supper club which you can read here, and announced their Halloween Supper club and we are excited to see more on the cards in the future. Slemish Market Supper Club grows Due to the success of our ongoing Supper Clubs, we are running another evening in the Adair Arms Hotel on Friday the 27th of November £40 per head. £20 deposit and £20 on the night.
