Fathers Day at Waterstones in Ballymena

Ballymena Waterstones has plenty to offer your dad this Father’s Day. We love their window display and want to congratulate the winners of their Father’s Day Competition.   Waterstones had two winners in their Father’s Day competition – well done to Emily Stewart and Chloe Smyth. The winners have their drawing included on the Father’s Day posters which are in every Waterstones store. We think that is a pretty awesome prize. Head in store to see the new posters and also browse through lots of Father’s Day titles which would be a great present for your dad. Read To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee from this special edition, or give your farmer a book about his favourite mode of transport with The Tractor Book or Guy Martins Autobiography. For you history loving dad get him the lastest book by Antony Beever, or if your dad enjoys a good read get him Finders Keepers by Stephen King. Or pick up this special volume of writing – Sons + Fathers – The book brings together a remarkable array of politicians and world leaders, writers and musicians, cultural icons and actors in this collection dedicated to fathers. A moving, fascinating and often funny collection of portraits, this anthology includes contributions from Bono, Paul Auster, Bob Geldof, George Clooney, Bill Clinton, Hanif Kureishi, Graydon Carter and Sting, to name a few.
