Spanish Flamenco Show in Ballymena

The Braid Arts Centre in Ballymena is set to host a night of Spanish Flamenco Dancing. The Spanish Flamenco Show will showcase the very best of Spanish dance from the dance company of Vicente Renero including Spanish classical dance complete with traditional dresses known as “bata de colas” and castanets and a Spanish folk dance called “La Jota ” from Zaragoza. Then enjoy the wonderful musicianship of their live musicians as they bring the Flamenco rhythms to life including Sevillanas , Bulerias , Alegrias , and Rumba. This is such a treat for any Strictly Come Dancing fan who is having withdrawal symptoms after the latest series! Have a peak at the dance troop in action below. On Tuesday 30th September from 6.00pm – 9.00pm Ballymena Town Centre will be holding a Shutters up event. The Shutters up event will ask local businesses to stay on a Tuesday night alongside planned music, film, art and entertainment.
