Also the shop is really well stocked with not only their own amazing produce but they promote and sell lots of products and produce from other local suppliers. Seeing local businesses connecting, supporting each other and providing great quality food for their customers is what we love to see here at Ballymena Today. When you call you’re likely to be greeted by at least one of the welcome team! – that’s the 3 dogs, Belle, Sally & Dixie! NO need to worry, they’re exceptionally friendly. Slemish Market Garden is run by Frank, Linda, Matthew & Lori who’s brought some American influence, especially at the minute, with a massive selection of pumpkins, squashes & gourds for sale. When you go into the shop you’ll be met with that amazing smell you get when there’s fresh fruit & veg about. Their produce is all grown traditionally using organic and bio-dynamic methods.
