Ballymena Today Music Tuesday Update

Here at Ballymena Today we love seeing acts and artists who are regulars on out playlists doing well. Recently we spotted SOAK, who we featured here, on the shortlist to win a Northern Ireland music prize. Up against the likes of Duke Special, Ciaran Lavery & Ryan Vail, and Tim Wheeler we are quietly confident that SOAK might just go home with an award. Ballymena Runners Athletic Club Charity Fun Run / Walk

Ballymena Runners Athletic Club are holding a Charity Fun Run / Walk in aid of the current Refugee Crisis. All are welcome to take part and if you have been thinking about getting out for some extra exercise or taking up running this special cause could give you the extra motivation that you need. Ballymena Runners are working in partnership with 2 local charities who are raising funds for supplies and all donations will be split between, Ballymena Lions Club, and St Vincent de Paul It is to be held on Thursday 24 September at 6.30pm and will be a 5K run using the Ecos centre parkrun course. Don’t worry of you are unfamiliar with the Ecos Centre course as there will be marshals and volunteers to help and support all runners and walkers and show them the way.
