Carniny Youth FC Charity Golf Event is being held on Friday 17th April 2015. If you or any of your friends play golf here’s a chance to play some golf on a great course and then have dinner afterwards in the Eagle Bar & Grill. Portglenone Community Rescue Service – Training

Members of the Community Rescue Service Water Team were in Roe Valley Country Park are training alongside members of the NI Fire and Rescue Specialist Rescue Team from Blue Watch. Lots of rain means that we can see rivers getting higher and conditions changing quickly over the next few days. The Specialist Rescue Team showcased the setup of their ropes access equipment. The Community Rescue Service team then were deployed for a exercise. Training then moved upstream where the team took part in practical flood response and river safety exercises. Here at Ballymena Toady it is time to have a spring clean of our wardrobe and invite in some lovely new items to take us through to summer. This reduces scuffs and dirty marks. Keep your hands clean if you are handling light coloured leather of suede. One greasy mark could ruin it forever. Ballymena Belles 5 Mile Race | Galgorm

Ladies who enjoy running – this is an event for you! Ballymena Belles are holding a 5 mile race on Tuesday 14th April 2015 starting at 7pm. Registration and changing facilities are at Galgorm Community Centre, Raphael Way in Galgorm and there’s also parking here. The race starts on Fenaghy Road near Corbally Bridge  and will end at the Community Centre. This is a female only event organised by Ballymena Runners, the very successful local running club. This Ballymena Belles event is sponsored by local businesses KK Beauty Clinic, Woodsides Pharmacy, Steele Physio & also Athletics Northern Ireland. There will be age category prizes for the various sectors and an exclusive Ballymena Belles shopper for the first 300 entries. Ballymena Belles 5 Mile Race registration details.
