Portglenone Community Rescue Service and LL Crafts

Ballymena artist Louise of LL Crafts and Portglenone Community Rescue Service have joined forces to fund raise. LL Crafts painted a rustic milk churn with the Portglenone Community Rescue Service logo. Community Rescue Service provide rural and urban search, water rescue and community support and education, and cover all of Northern Ireland. Grove Vets – Stray Campaign

Ballymena Veterinarian centre Grove Vets has enjoyed following the Stray Dog challenge which has been taken on by vets. Participants have taken on this challenge to highlight the plight of dogs who have been abandoned. Just take a look at the video below. Vets were blindfolded, taken to a remote location and abandoned. They then tried to make their way back home without any help. Look Who’s Back by Timur Hermes is March’s book for the Ballymena Bookclub to enjoy. Last month the group loved Her by Harriet Lane calling it a “gripping read”.
