Ballymena Today – Alternative Mother’s Day Gifts

Earlier here at Ballymena Today we shared our ideas for Mother’s Day Gifts which can by bought here in Ballymena. Supporting local Ballymena businesses is something that we are really excited about but we know that not all mums are the same so we wanted to share some alternative gifts which you can still snap up locally before Sunday. 1/ Gal Groom Voucher – This is specifically for any mother who is a total dog lover! If your mum loves her doggy and they are as much a member of the family as you are then think outside of the box and give them a voucher which will treat her and her favourite pooch to a bit of pampering. 2/ Treat her to some time together. Clear an afternoon and take your mum out for a bug mug of tea and a yummy dessert. Take her somewhere that she normally wouldn’t go like the Creamery Can at Glarryford. Make the day all about her and enjoy spending time together. 3/ Head to Slemish Market Garden in Saturday morning – be early – and pick up all you need to whip up a beautiful Sunday dinner. Organic and locally grown it is the perfect way to show your mum that you love her. Forget rushing your mum on Sunday morning with a badly organised breakfast in bed – go the...
