Ballymena Today loves WordPress

Our website is built on WordPress. WordPress is web software you can use to create a beautiful website or blog. We like to say that WordPress is both free and priceless at the same time. We love how simple WordPress is. For writers who just want to get on with typing, to serious coders who want to build something unique… you can do almost anything with it. We also love that WordPress is an open-source platform which means that there are thousands of developers helping to improve it all the time. The theme options are endless if you are not building something from scratch and once you get that far, there are plugins available to cover just about any requirement you might have on your site. For anyone wanting to get started on the web, we also say WordPress first. There are lots of other great options of course but we trust WordPress. As well as it being our main foundation on Ballymena Today, here are a couple of essential blocks of our site that we could not do without. Studiopress We use a Studiopress theme to run the site. Over the last few years we have worked with quite a few WordPress themes and Studiopress is among the every best and most reliable option we know of. Check out the features you get with them here.
