September is just around the corner and it is time for Ballymena pupils get ready to go back to school. Here are some local Ballymena businesses and organisations who can help you getting ready to go back to school:

Calculators for secondary School

Slemish College recently shared this on Facebook:

I know you probably don’t want to hear this but believe it or not there’s only a few weeks of the holidays left so it’s time to start thinking about back to school shopping! Every year the Maths Department get asked which calculator students should buy and although there are other makes and models out there, this Casio fx-83GT Plus is the one we recommend. Eason and Tesco both have this model half price at £4.99 at the minute or you can buy the next model up or the coloured varieties for an extra few pounds. It may be tempting to buy a cheaper brand but these Casio ones are well worth the money and will last the whole length of time your child is at school if they are well looked after.

No trip to the gym, field, or court should begin without a dependable backpack or duffle bag. At Under Armour UK we believe your bag shouldn’t just carry your gear, it should protect it. We equip or bags with water-resistant UA Storm technology & tough, abrasion-resistant bottom panels to ensure that no matter where you end up, you’ll know your stuff is safe. For smaller, youth-sized bags built to go from class to the practice field, shop our boys’ backpacks & girls’ backpacks. (Source)
