If you love music, then I’m sure you would have been disappointed to find out that roughly a year ago HMV in the Fairhill shopping centre Ballymena was closed. Well, now you can turn that frown upside down, because you will be pleased to hear that the HMV store in the Fairhill Shopping Centre is to re-open! So, on the 30th of August, HMV will be re-opening its doors to the public.

Hilco Capital (who own HMV) said:

We’re looking forward to bringing HMV back to Ballymena. It’s been a busy 12 months for HMV here, since re-opening the first store in Dublin’s Henry Street almost one year ago and we’ll be announcing further openings in the near future. We will also be launching a new HMV website and introducing the PureHMV rewards programme in Ireland before the end of the year.”

If shopping in-store isn’t your thing, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for when the new HMV website is coming up!

DSCF3012I cant wait to have a browse through the music, dvd’s and games. One of the first CD’s I ever got I got as a Christmas present which was by a band called Fun. It had ten unique songs in it which I played over and over again because they were so good. But my favourite song on it was one called Some Nights, which is also the name of the Album. Here is the video.

Bop to the shop, and shop ‘till you drop in HMV Ballymena!
