Advent is the four weeks which lead up to Christmas and each Wednesday people in Ballymena will have the opportunity stop for a quiet moment. The event is being run by the Ballymena Church Members Forum.

Advent Reflection in Ballymena

Ballymena Church Members Forum is having the annual series of Advent Reflections in the 4 weeks of Advent prior to Christmas. The services are on Wednesdays at lunchtime – from 12.30 to 13.15 so that anyone in Ballymena either having a lunch break or just shopping can drop in. The churches involved are St Patrick’s C of I on 2nd December, West Church Presbyterian on 9th December, Ballymena Methodist on 16th December and All Saints RC church on 23rd December. These Advent Reflections are part of a project called Our Shared Community – Promoting Good Relations in Ballymena which has been partially funded by OFMDFM through the Good Relations Unit of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council.
