Ballymena Today have been catching up on all the acts who played last month at Glastonbury. Did you see Rainy Boy Sleep. The Derry born performer is a regular at Glastonbury and this year played the John Peel Stage, he also filled in for Texas who were absent from the acoustic stage too. Hot Cars Kill Dogs – Grove Vets

Veterinarian Centre Grove Vets on the Grove Road in Ballymena warned their blog readers that hot cars kill dogs. The dogs Trust ran this campaign last year which illustrated how important it is to look after your pets in the warm weather. The Dogs Trust share these facts; Under 20 minutes in a hot car can prove fatal to a dog should its body temperature exceed 41°C. The Farm Safety Partnership (FSP) is inviting farmers, families and ballymena folks involved in farming to support Farm Safety Week – 6 to 10 July 2015. The Big Splash Festival – Portglenone

Portglenone will host the Big Splash Festival from the 20th -25th July 2015.
