Ballymena schools celebrates World Book Day

If you have spotted some seriously funny looking characters in ballymena today it could be because today is World Book Day. On World Book Day lots of children get the opportunity to dress up as their favourite character from a book and talk about them with their classmates.

On World Book Day children also receive a book token which can be exchanged for a free World Book Day book of used to save £1 on you child’s favourite titles. Here are the selection of free books which are on offer – Pre schoolers should be familiar with Kipper the dog, Roald Dahl writes the delightful “The Great Mouse Plot” and older kids will be keen to catch up on the latest stories from”The World of Norm”.
