Local Ballymena children recently performed for judges of the Radio Ulster School Choir of the Year competition. They performed “Tomorrow” which is from the musical “Annie” and we think that they did an absolutely brilliant job. Just click below to have a listen:

Ballykeel Primary School are among many school choirs from all over Northern Ireland who were picked to compete against each other from the title. The song was the perfect choice and the pupils did a brilliant and enthusiastic job. We aren;t judging but we would certainly put Ballykeel Primary School through to the big final!!

Ballykeel Primary School is on the Crebilly Road in Ballymena and was first established in 1966. Staff and pupils moved into their new building in 1998 and all now enjoy a beautiful, modern and well-designed school set on a huge site with ample playgrounds and great scope for the development of our environmental objectives. Well done to the staff and all of the kids who have obviously worked very hard to produce such a great performance. It is excellent to see Ballymena represented in the School Choir of the Year heats this year.
