This is a treat for any locals who are enthusiastic about arts and crafts. The exhibition also includes some quilts from the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum which are being displayed for the first time alongside contemporary examples from local  folks.

“Dating from the mid 1800’s onwards, they show a skilful application of pattern, colour and needlework, and have been constructed from a variety of fabrics including printed cotton, linen, tweed, velvet and even flour sacks.” (from www.thebraid.com)
