A local coffee shop has just brought a piece of Jamaica to town as Marley Coffee at The Jam Factory in Ballymena brings Get Up Stand Up, One Love, Buffalo Soldier, Lively Up & Simmer Down to our town. Yes, they’re all well known Bob Marley hits but they’re also the names of the fantastic new range of coffee available at The Jam Factory. It’s great to see Marley Coffee in Northern Ireland and as well as serving it in the coffee shop, Marley Coffee at The Jam Factory in Ballymena are also selling the beans and ground coffee in handy 227g bags so you can also enjoy it at home.
Marley Coffee at The Jam Factory is on the corner of High Street & John Street, Ballymena – right beside Red Star Music and opposite the Tower Centre car park. It has had a fantastic facelift as you can see from the photos and is a great place to meet friends, have a quiet break, answer a few emails using their free wifi and enjoy some of their fantastic range of great food along with one of their new coffees.
We asked the owner Peter why the move to Marley Coffee. “I wanted to bring Marley Coffee to Northern Ireland and in particular to our coffee shop here in Ballymena because not only is it a brilliant tasting coffee but it also has a real story to tell and we will have some fun with it. We love what Marley Coffee are all about as they ‘strive to support communities and the environment through organic, sustainable & ethical practices’ So it made perfect sense for me to choose Marley Coffee and so far the response has been fantastic with lots of great comments from our customers. “
What else is available at Marley Coffee at The Jam Factory? “We’re open at 9am serving a good choice of breakfasts – porridge, breakfast bagels, croissants, toast and more is available. For lunch we have a well stocked and really fresh sandwich bar where we will make your sandwich to either take with you or sit in if you have the time. We also do wraps etc and at this time of the year as the weather gets warmer we have a selection of salads. Available all day of course is our fantastic new Marley Coffee, teas, hot chocolates & cold drinks, and especially good at this time of year is an ice cream from our artisan ice cream selection. So hopefully something for everyone. We would love to see lots of new & existing customers come and relax a while with us, try our new Marley Coffee and tell us what you think. We really do want to know!”
We wish Peter and the team every success with their business. It’s great to see Marley Coffee in Northern Ireland and especially in Ballymena. Marley Coffee at The Jam Factory really is a great little place to chill out or catch up, so if you’re in Ballymena give them a call. You can follow them on Facebook here and on Twitter here
