At the Ballymena School of Music Open Day on 30th you can go along and chat to the team about music lessons. You can also book a short taster lesson which they will be offering on the day. These lessons will include drums, guitar, piano, vocals, clarinet and saxophone.

‘This will give you an insight into what happens in lessons and what you can expect if you chose to take up an instrument. Whether you have been playing for a while or if you would just love to start something new, it’s a great opportunity to gain some motivation to get stuck in! Once you’ve had your taster lesson you can then go on to book regular weekly 30 minute lessons. Having regular lessons will help to encourage you and teach you the correct methods to play your instrument. They will also help you to set goals and encourage you to practice every week.

To help you get started there will be offers on selected items at Red Star Music during the Open Day. For example, there is a 10% discount off all music books. Also 10% discount off guitar strings and 10% off any guitar you buy over £200.

This is a super opportunity for all budding Ballymena musicans to try out a new musical instrument. If you enjoy it you can go on to book regular lessons with the team. Find out more about BSM on their website here, or find them on Facebook here.
