Here at Ballymena Today we love seeing acts and artists who are regulars on out playlists doing well. Recently we spotted SOAK, who we featured here, on the shortlist to win a Northern Ireland music prize. Up against the likes of Duke Special, Ciaran Lavery & Ryan Vail, and Tim Wheeler we are quietly confident that SOAK might just go home with an award. Recently we also featured Ballymena act Lilla Vargen – if you didn’t catch that blog post then find out more here. The beautiful singer, songwriter got an invite to perform her song “This is Love” at Mount Stewart as part of the Burberry Acoustic which supports new musical talent.
